What is GroupMe? Well, it’s probably the best Android app in the market, enabling “private” communication with your groups of contacts via either text or conference calls. Sounds vague? Allow me to drill down GroupMe even more for you!

And, when Yelp.com just isn’t portable enough for me, Yelp! Android App is my new love on my HTC Incredible. Here is why I love about the app – as a person who has to find out the latest reviews (gossips..should i say!) on places I’m about to visit:

Foursquare is an online social gaming website that is gaining popularity VERY quickly. Essentially users using their cell phones check in at “venues” around town throughout the course of their day. Check ins earn you points and badges. The highest prestige to be made mayor of a venue. The mayor of any particular venue is the person who has checked in the most in the last 60 days.

The Nexus One runs on a 1GHz snapdragon processor with a 3.7 inch WVGA Amoled touchscreen display. The phone has a height of 119mm, width of 59.8, depth of 11.5, and weighs only 130 grams with the battery. Along with 512 MB of Ram and flash it comes with a 4 GB microsd card which is expandable to 32 GB. (Sounds nice already, doesn’t it).

The Cliq does run on Android 1.5, with MotoBlur running on top. If you are not familiar with Motoblur it is Motorola’s own special blend. You create an account and with that account you sign in. The Moto Blur service is quite unique for many reasons.

Flixster is the most popular movie application on Facebook and has become it’s own social network at Flixster.com Like any other social site you can add friends, send messages, and even IM om the site.
